Gps antenna adapter

Guys good mornign. I am here again to stole your knowledge.

So i have bought a gps device to plug it to my pc. The problem is that it has a female SMA plug. I founnd some adapter from SMA female to SMB female but i am afraid of buying those without asking the experts.

So i know that the sharan has a double interface antenna ( gps and gsm ) . So is there any possibilities of damaging my car or the gps module if i connect the oem vw antenna to the Gps module ???

The gps module is from sure electronics…!

ps : why i dont have text editor when i am writing a psost ?

Hello Pavlos,
The GPS Antenna is purely passive.
So the worst thing that can happen is that it doesn’t work.
In this case some members of the forum put another antenna under the dashboard, so this could be an alternative.
Let us know about the outcome.
