Ive read on the Freds TDI forum pages you can enter the menu for the climatronic by pressing the minus of the fan, the minus of the temp and the eco buttons all at the same time. Then you have control over several parameters. Any one who knows how to do it with the 2001 models with splitted (front/rear) climatronics? Ive found out that eco and auto switches between °C and °F and vise versa. And front minus fan together with minus temp switches the AC off.
